Hemp Movement series, featuring Manitoba Harvest

In this segment from the on-going Hemp Movement series of the Hippy Gourmet TV Show, we meet Autumn Bree of Manitoba Harvest. Based in Manitoba, Canada, Manitoba Harvest is dedicated to the Industrial Hemp cause- creating a fully organic line of Hemp food products. The folks at Manitoba Harvest were also instrumental in helping shape Canada's policy toward legalizing Hemp, by demonstrating its positive impacts on economies and of course the environment.

The law in Canada requires the use of certified seed of Hemp with a low THC. In addition, the draconian licensing scheme prevents the reuse of a farmer from using your own seed. Possession of hemp plant parts or products without the appropriate license is a criminal offense. Thats right, processing a natural God given specimen is illegal?

On the bright side the annual license only requires a criminal check and ten bucks. Compare that to the cost of a Hemp license in the states.
